Avelina Augustin Martyr representing the MiCoud Cluster of the network of Rural Women Producers (SLNRWP) The Micoud Cluster is one of four (4) groups that comprise the Saint Lucia Network of rural Women Producers (SLNRWP), which was registered in 2014. The group is made up of (20) woman whose main activities are farming, agro-processing, candied fruits, fudges, jams, jellies, coconut oil, chips, local juice, breads, cakes, pastries, cassava bread, fruit, vegetable punches, dark chocolates. cocoa cubes, grated cocoa craft/floral arrangements, textile and catering all produced at the Anse Ger Agro processing facility. The Micoud Chocolate Company is part of the Micoud Cluster and this chocolate brand”Micoud” is at the main supermarket branches in Saint Lucia. The Micoud Cluster group is affiliated with the SLNRWP and is a network of individuals, organizations and affiliates working collectively/together with the Caribbean Network of Rural Women Producers(CANOP) to support rural women producers in achieving their objectives. The goal is to improve the standard of living of rural women producers through training, cultural exchange, networking and the promotion of regional and international trade.
